WHO WE ARE

OUR HISTORY

The Miss Universe Cayman Islands Pageant is the most highly anticipated national event since 1977. This event is a tradition that showcases our national pride and over the years, has evolved into a powerful organization.

The Miss Universe Cayman pageant supports opportunities for young women to become ambassadors locally and internationally for The Cayman Islands.

While it is a competition, the women who participate create a network of friends and colleagues on which to draw support. Each young woman entering the pageant has the opportunity for growth and confidence in all areas of their lives and future goals.

The Miss Universe Organization places priority on the importance of community involvement and giving back by providing a dedicated platform of charitable partnerships. As leaders and role models within their communities, our contestants and titleholders work to affect positive change through volunteering, fundraising and advocacy. During the reign, our winner is given tools to personally and professionally enrich others by dedicating time to raising awareness and the much needed funds for philanthropic endeavors.

The contestants and titleholders that have gone through the Miss Universe system are able to cultivate their personal career goals and advocate for humanitarian issues and we proudly boast that many have gone on to high profile careers following their time as our National Queen. For over 40 years, we have crowned incredible, intelligent, poised and beautiful women to be representatives for our country. Miss Universe Cayman Islands has been forward thinking and motivated to not just talk about change, but to actively initiate it.
