My name is Tameka Cox, and I am honoured to be in the running for Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2026, proudly representing the vibrant district of George Town. I completed a double degree in Law & Commerce and was admitted to the bar in New Zealand. I had the opportunity to practise Banking and Finance Law in New Zealand. I recently achieved another major milestone in my professional journey by being admitted to the Cayman Islands Bar. My experience in Law & Commerce has strengthened my professionalism, broadened my perspective, and deepened my appreciation for discipline and hard work.

Beyond my career, I am passionate about personal growth and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, salsa dancing, and free-diving; activities that keep me grounded, focused, and motivated. I am also a second degree black belt in Wado Karate.

I am especially passionate about youth empowerment, particularly in the areas of education, career development, community connection, and well-being. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and empowered to pursue their goals with confidence.

As I begin my journey toward the crown, I hope to inspire others to embrace their individuality, pursue their ambitions fearlessly, and lead with purpose and authenticity. I am excited for the opportunity to grow, serve my community, and proudly represent the Cayman Islands on the international stage.
