Miss Universe Cayman Islands, Ileann Powery, participated in the 'The Addison Kelly Butterfly 5k Walk/Run is a fundraising event for the Addison Kelly Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is available to eligible students interested in pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree or other formal certification in the field of mental health from an accredited overseas institution.

Miss Universe Cayman Islands, Ileann Powery, attended the Planning for Youth Success Conference, where she gave a speech on behalf of The United Against Bullying Foundation on Peaceful Conflict Resolution. In addition to these presentations, this event allowed different organizations who support young people in the Cayman Islands to set up booths to display their services throughout the day.

Ileann Powery and the National Director of the Miss Universe Cayman Islands Organization, Derri Lee, had a real and open conversation at the Planning for Youth Success Conference. They shared their honest experiences and thoughts about bullying in hopes of encouraging others to start their own conversation on the matter. Bringing awareness to the topic of bullying can help others heal and let them know they are not alone.

Ileann Powery attended the Outstanding Women Listeners In The World 2023 Awards Ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.

The awards were presented to 25 women globally. This programme is focused in highlighting women who actively endeavor to raise awareness of the importance of listening while demonstrating outstanding listening skills in their organizational roles. Amongst the selection was Hon. Premier Juliana O’Conner-Connolly.

Miss Universe Cayman Islands Illean Powery visits Radio Cayman to speak about a very important topic: Bullying. Maintaining this ongoing conversation is a crucial part in the active effort of putting an end to bullying, so let's keep talking about it!

Thank you to the Family Resource Center for inviting the United Against Bullying team and I to take a photo in our pink Stood Up t-shirts in honor of National Bullying Prevention Month in front of the Cayman Islands Government Administration Building this morning. I got the privilege of being pinned (swipe until the end). This pin holds me accountable daily by reminding me to stand up against bullying.
