Pageant contestants hit the road in annual motorcade
This year’s Miss Universe Cayman Islands contestants travelled across the west of Grand Cayman in the annual motorcade on Saturday, 12 Aug.
The five finalists, each in an open top vehicle, stopped at five points along the route throughout the morning to meet supporters and have photos taken.
Current Miss Universe Cayman Islands Chloe Powery-Doxey headed the procession, which went from the Cayman Turtle Centre through George Town before finishing at Pedro St James.
The competition finals will take place on Saturday, 2 Sept., at The Westin resort.
The winner will go on to represent the Cayman Islands at 72nd Miss Universe in El Salvador on 18 Nov.
